  Seems cheap at first but they'll find any way to charge you extra. Bit of a beef cake factory. Friendly staff though.

  Terrible Experience. I was in Kelowna visiting for a few days and went to World Gym to get a membership for the time I was there. I went in today (Nov 7) around 11am and was ignored from the moment I stepped into the building by the woman at the counter. She was chatting with a friend of hers for what was the better part of 20 minutes before she acknowledged I was standing there. Finally, the friend of the girl at the counter (wow) looks at me and rudely says "do you need something"? I ask if there is a drop in fee and told her the amount of days I was there for so she tells me to get the 3 sessions for 30 dollars deal. I agreed that was the best deal and paid for the 3 day membership. She throws a waiver at me then proceeds to go talk to her friend over the counter. I fill out the waiver and wait for her to hopefully give me a tour and some information about the gym but again am ignored. Absolutely despicable service by the woman working at the desk, however when I went into the gym I was met by some friendly gym go-ers. All in all, it was not a good experience and I won't be recommending the gym to anyone I know in the area. Management should definitely address these issues and I hope no other patrons ever have the same experience.

  Great staff, not over-crowded in the mornings, good selection of equipment, and excellent rates.

  Can't put weights on any machines, bench presses, or squat racks without hitting the machine or person next to you.

  Great rates including the option to bring in a guest at no extra cost for a maximum of $20/month. Otherwise it's $10.

  Tanning is an added bonus so you don't have to spend the extra bucks at a tanning salon.
